Our mission is to provide compassionate help and support to individuals and families in crisis.

Over the past year The Gowanbank Hub Crisis and Support Center has supported hundreds of families across Greater Pollok and sarrounding area. We provide immedate crisis support to people who have fallen on “hard times” as a result of poverty, deprivation or other means.

Unfortunatly many of the families we have come into contact have simply run out of the cash they need to support themselves and there family.

Our unique solution provides same-day help to people in crisis. We are able to provide access to immedate help and support to people in crisis by providing practical and emotional support.

What Practical support do we provide?

– We provide meals to the vulnerable.
– We provide hygiene packs to those on the streets
 Access to emergency food Provisions
-Access to emergy electric and gas vouchers
-Provision of emergency clothing
-Advocacy Service
– Access to Lifesaving medical training (Our volunteers take part in Naloxone Training, Drug Awareness, Alcohol Awareness, Addiction Awareness and FREC 3 and First Aid.)  

What Emotional support do we provide?

We provide free and confidential counselling for individuals and families. We are members of The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).

We continue to build our capacity to suit local need, Foundation resources and partner capabilities.
